This project though it may look complicated is rather easy. The main difference between designing something on Illustrator for the vinyl versus the laser is, the vinyl cutter will only cut things, not engrave. The design in illustrator needs to be a solid image, the color does not matter because the vinyl cutter only has one mode, cutting. Once the solid design is complete it can now be printed.
Open the desired file on the computer hooked up to the vinyl cutter. From there select the desired layer of the design that should be printed first. Load the Vinyl cutter and adjust where the design will be printed so it matches up with the material. Repeat this until the design is fully printed.
Now that the design is fully printed remove all the unnecessary vinyl so only the desired vinyl is left. From here transfer the separate pieces of vinyl to finish the design.
